About Me

I'm an avid player of Magic the Gathering, and I've done some art related to Magic.

I love engaging others in learning more about themselves and the world. It’s fulfilling for me to see people gain confidence in navigating the world and become better at expressing their views and vision through their art.

About Me

When I'm not at work I enjoy hiking in the day and looking at the stars in the evening. I love walking in nature as it calms my mind and I love to see what planets and stars we can see on particular nights. This summer, I plan to see the Milky Way for the first time!

I have never been great at processing hardship in my life. When I found art, I found a beautiful outlet to freely express my thoughts and emotions. I love sharing this with others because it allows me to find people who can relate. That connection is precious and I treasure it deeply.

About Me

When not at work I’m attending California College of the Arts where I major in painting and drawing. I spend almost all of my free time working on my paintings or spending time with friends. I love to go to Delores park and soak up the sun or walk around the city and see where my legs take me.

I am so in love with the creative process and I experience a lot of joy and satisfaction when I’m able to turn my artistic visions into reality. If I can spread that passion to others I feel that I have done my job correctly as an educator.

About Me

I love engaging others in learning more about themselves and the world. It's fulfilling to me to see people gain more confidence in navigating the world and become better at expressing their views and vision through their art.

When I’m creating especially painting I can get into the “zone” it’s like meditation. I want others to feel too and to understand the freedom of expression!

About Me

I enjoy painting and drawing. I am hoping to start building up a collection of recent art for a gallery showing of some kind. (something I have never done) In the meantime, I love building with LEGO or getting lost in a good book (especially if there are dragons or spaceships, or both)

Once I am “in the groove” and a piece is coming along, there is a sense of peace that I have yet to find anywhere else. On the other hand, prior to being “in the groove,” the process is anything but peaceful and relaxing, and I have to constantly remind myself of what awaits if I can just relax and let the art do its thing. I enjoy sharing my art in the hope that I might encourage others to start drawing, painting, or doing whatever they love, and find for themselves the joy of being creative.

Jewelry/Beading

About Me

When I’m not at work I love to go thrifting and antiquing, and I especially like to explore the jewelry section where I often find some unique pieces. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family where we get together to take pictures in cute settings, visit tourist spots (even if I’m a local), and check out places I’ve seen on social media. Outside of work I also have creative hobbies such as scrapbooking and making cute jewelry pieces such as beaded keychains with polymer clay charm accents. Lastly, I love to spend time with my adorable cats at home!

Within the creative process I benefit by being surrounded by other artists as we’re able to bounce off different ideas and discover new ways of making art. When I’m creating things myself, I’m inspired by others’ processes of going outside of the box and this helps me stray away from my perfectionist side. I love sharing my artistic passion with others because it might just influence someone to start their own creative journey.

About Me

I love spending time outdoors with my 8 year-old pit bull mix, Charlie. I also love to garden. A fun fact about me is that I am an avid collector of cactus and succulents and I have almost 100 different species from all over the world.

I am someone who finds the process of creating art just as fulfilling as the end result itself. From the initial idea to the execution, I truly enjoy immersing myself in the details of a project. I love sharing my artistic passion because it helps others discover their own creativity and express themselves in new ways. Whether I’m teaching children or adults, it’s always rewarding to witness the sense of accomplishment and pride that comes from creating something personal and meaningful.
