Position: Part-Time Kids Yoga Instructor
Location: Throughout the Bay Area (SF, Redwood City, Burlingame, Piedmont, Foster City, San Mateo)
Dragonfly Designs, a woman-owned art education and experiences company with 20 years of excellence, is seeking certified Yoga Instructors to help young campers transition into their first day of camp with movement, mindfulness, and play. Each Monday, our Yoga Instructors will lead a welcoming and interactive yoga circle (8:45 AM – 10:00 AM), using breathing exercises, storytelling, and fun yoga games like those inspired by Yoga Pretzels cards to create a warm and joyful start to the week. Instructors will travel to different Bay Area camp locations based on enrollment and have the opportunity to stay on as Assistant Camp Counselors ($25/hour) or lead art-themed birthday parties and events on weekends.

Dragonfly Designs is currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Part-Time Kids Yoga Instructors to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for yoga, working with children, and creating a warm, welcoming environment. The position involves leading Yoga sessions during our Summer Camps and potentially teaching afterschool classes in the fall.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience teaching yoga to children is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to create a warm, engaging, and inclusive environment. Strong classroom management skills.
- Attributes: Enthusiastic, compassionate, and energetic with excellent communication skills.
- Additional Skills: Artistic skills are a plus, especially in jewelry making or mixed media arts.
Compensation:
- Pay: $40 per hour for Yoga > other jobs have their own corresponding pay
