About Dragonfly Designs
Dragonfly Designs is a woman-founded, creative business built from the ground up with heart, grit, and a deep belief in the power of creativity to connect people. We design and deliver hands-on creative experiences — from children’s programs and camps to high-end corporate events and team-building experiences — across the Bay Area.
What makes us different is not just what we do — it’s how people experience it.We help people connect with creativity in a way that feels accessible, surprising, and genuinely fun. Many of the adults we work with don’t consider themselves “artistic” — and yet they walk away having created something they’re proud of. They leave feeling inspired, energized, and often surprised by what they’re capable of.
That transformation — from “I’m not creative” to “Wow, I made this” — is at the heart of what we do.
For over 20 years, we’ve built our business almost entirely through word of mouth and repeat clients, with consistently five-star experiences across the board.
We are a small but growing team navigating an important transition:
- Expanding our corporate and B2B business
- Building more consistent, predictable revenue
- Creating stronger systems and accountability across the company
We are looking for someone who wants to step into that moment with us — not just take a job, but help build what comes next.
The Role
This is a build + lead + figure-it-out role.
We are looking for an Operations Manager / Integrator who can:
- Bring structure to a fast-moving, creative business
- Hold a team accountable while supporting and developing them
- Build systems that actually work in real life (not just on paper)
- Help drive revenue by strengthening our sales approach
You will work directly with the Founder as a thought partner — helping translate ideas into execution, and ensuring things actually get done.
What You’ll Be Responsible For Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations across camps, programs, and events
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and team efficiency
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
- Step in when needed — this is a roll-up-your-sleeves environment
- Support implementation of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
Sales & Growth (Critical Part of This Role)
- Help build and manage a simple, effective sales pipeline
- Support outreach to corporate and institutional clients
- Follow up on leads and help close opportunities
- Train team members to recognize and act on sales opportunities in real time
- Help shift the company toward more consistent, B2B-driven revenue
Systems & Accountability
- Implement basic tracking (KPIs, pipeline, reporting)
- Ensure the team follows through on commitments
- Create clarity where there is currently ambiguity
- Help the business become more predictable and sustainable
Who This Role Is For
This role is for someone who:
- Loves building systems and making things work better
- Is scrappy, resourceful, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
- Can hold people accountable without creating drama
- Is comfortable stepping into ambiguity and figuring things out
- Understands that in a small business, no job is beneath you
- Is excited by the idea of helping grow a business — not just maintaining one
You might come from:
- Operations / project management
- Small business leadership
- Events, hospitality, or experience-based companies
- Startups or fast-paced environments
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience in both operations AND sales support
- Comfort with client interaction and relationship-building
- Ability to balance big-picture thinking with day-to-day execution
- A mindset of: “If this is broken, I’m going to fix it”
The Reality
We want to be transparent:
This is a growing business, not a fully built machine.
- Systems are still being built
- Revenue is not yet consistent
- Priorities can shift quickly
We are looking for someone who sees that as an opportunity, not a problem.
Someone who wants to help shape the business — and grow with it.
Why This Role Matters
If we get this role right, it changes everything.
This person will help:
- Stabilize operations
- Increase revenue consistency
- Build a stronger team
- Create a more sustainable business
You’ll Love Working Here If…
- You want your work to actually matter
- You like seeing the direct impact of what you build
- You enjoy working with creative, passionate people
- You’re energized by solving problems and improving systems
- You want to help grow something meaningful from the inside
