About This Role

Welcome to Dragonfly Designs, a woman-owned Art Education & Experiences company that has been sparking creativity since 2005. We offer a wide range of services, including Mobile Art Entertainment for celebrations and team events, Afterschool Art Classes, School Break Art Camps, Adult Workshops, Weekend Art Classes, Corporate Team Building Events, and DIY Kits. We’re currently seeking passionate and dedicated Part-Time Art Instructors to join our collaborative team to teach afterschool enrichment classes on school campuses around the Bay Area from approximately 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM (although times vary per location). As a mobile company, owning a car is essential to transport art supplies to clients’ locations.

As an art instructor with us, you will inspire students of all ages to explore their artistic potential, contribute to a nurturing and supportive learning environment, and help maintain the 5-star rating that we’ve proudly upheld for the past 19 years. You’ll be teaching various techniques, including but not limited to beading, tie-dye, wire work, mandala painting, painting, sketching, drawing, watercolor, macrame, dyeing, sewing, weaving, bookbinding, embroidery, clay, textiles, and more. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in all these areas – we’ll teach you! We’re especially interested in instructors who bring a love of working with guests of all ages and who can facilitate collaboration and relationships between students.

At Dragonfly Designs, we have a dedicated Staff Mentor, invest heavily in our staff’s training and development, and are looking for long-term staff who are committed to our mission.
