Create a nourishing face mask

An all-natural face mask is an easy after school or weekend activity for both kids and adults. This mask incorporates just four ingredients but has many skin benefits. Bentonite clay draws toxins out of the skin, witch hazel reduces inflammation and redness, turmeric aids with the harmful effects of sun exposure and gives skin a glow, and coconut oil is ultra-hydrating. Try this mask for yourself and pave the way for healthy, beautiful skin.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons bentonite clay
2 tablespoons witch hazel
1 tablespoon turmeric
2 tablespoons coconut oil

Mix the ingredients in a small bowl using a non-metal spoon (metal causes the clay to become less effective). If your coconut oil is more solid you may need to add a bit more to make the mask thinner. Spread the mask on your face so it’s about 1/8 inch thick. Let it dry for about 15 minutes, then remove it with warm water. Turmeric can sometimes stain fabric so use an old washcloth to remove the mask and dry your face.
